Its dark green, scaly foliage remains dense and bushy all year round and is slightly fragrant in warm days. It originated as a seedling in New Zealand in 1984. Cupressus sempervirens Totem can grow in any type of soil, as long as it is well drained. It is not demanding, even prefers poor to average, unimproved soil.
